The BHMS course is five and a half years long (including a one-year compulsory internship) and started in December 1984.
UNDER GRADUATE COURSE
Bachelor in Homoeopathic of Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), a 5 1/2 years course recognized by National Commission for Homoeopathy (Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India), New Delhi and affiliated to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University, Gorakhpur.
Intake capacity of students- 63 seats every year .
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
All the seats through NEET (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to BHMS Course.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
- Candidates who have attained the age of 17 year by 31 December of preceding year of the year of admission. Date of birth will be considered as recorded in the High School certificate or other authentic certificate.
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology i.e., ISCE/C.B.S.E/Intermediate examination conducted by any Board recognized by the State Government.
- Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination (10+2) and result is not yet available are also eligible to appear at the NEET (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST) but such candidates shall submit the mark sheet of the qualifying examination (10+2) at the time of Counselling/Admission.
